About this Item

Green decorative cover with illustration of a little girl picking flowers. Black lettering to front and spine. Light bumping to top and bottom of the spine otherwise the cover is in excellent clean and bright condition for year.Undated but I believe it to be 1904. Internally the pages which are light card are very slightly yellowed but nothing to detract from the overall good condition. titles include Jack Frost Woods and Fields in spring Holly and Fir The Rook Chicks Hedgehog Beetle Humble bumble. Illustrated with 7 beautiful colour illustrations and many black and white drawings in the text.2 lines underlined in pencil on page 15 partially removed. Thomas Hoare was teacher of nature study to the Falkirk school board and Stirlingshire County Council. Seller Inventory # 001258
