Hardcover book complete in its original dust jacket (price-clipped). 24 cm. 240 pages. Contains black-and-white illustrations by Tom Phillips (1927-2005) throughout. Memoir by the former Secretary of the American Hereford Association. This special copy contains a large, original pencil sketch of a cattle rancher mounted on horseback drawn by Tom Philips on the half-title page. The book is in near fine condition. No ownership marks/writing present within. Hinges tight, interior pages bright. Light edge wear/tear, rubbing to the dust jacket (now protected under a removable mylar sleeve).
