8.25" x 11.25" pp. [68]; color illustrations throughout. First edition. Illustrated light blue paper boards are scuffed at the edges with a light bend to the bottom right corner. Front cover is toned along the edges. White back cover and spine are toned with a few smudges throughout. Small tear without loss at bottom edge of spine. Text and illustrations are clean and bright. Good. . First edition indicated by the 3-line copyright label, the words "Lake Erie" present on leaf 25, the 5-line statement by Rudolf Flesch in a yellow box on the rear cover, and 32 listed titles on rear cover (Younger & Hirsch Seuss Bibliography).
