Allen & Unwin 1963, 63, 63, impressions 13, 10, 10, 1963 set. In 1964 a special buckram faux leather set was release. 1965 & 1966 the familiar first editions return. Every now and then a special set like this comes along. This is one. Except for slight tanning to the jackets spines, they are near fine. The have uniform wear/colouring although the flash is making RotK jacket look darker, it isn't. No tears or tattering, several "dents" to paper, but these don't extend to the book covers. Not that noticeable in the Mylar. Importantly, the dust jackets are the original light grey colour which is now extremely rare. Books are read once or possible unread, true fine, no marks, Spine gilt as-new.
