About this Item

Allen and Unwin. All three books 5th impression of the first editions. 1956, 1957, 1959. Very good books with no serious flaws. 6th printing dust jacket on FotR, normal to use up spare jackets, tattering to spine ends and corners. All have fading to jacket spine colours, but covers bright, general wear and tear, These books were purchased separately to eventually make a set, but have similar wear and aging so the dust jackets match overall. There is no uniqueness to the 5th printing, but it is unusual to have them all in such and early printing.
