Book Conditions: Good Plus; all of the books have tiny dots of adhesive blocking from the wraps and storage conditions; the books are not stuck together but do show tiny white dots on the wraps; else Near Fine. No DJ. Slipcase shows rubbing and light wear to box papers and corners. Pictorial card stock wraps. Wraps for Fellowship of the Ring and The Hobbit show light creased to spine from opening for reading; wraps are not bent of folded; text is secure in binding. All books were originally priced at $1.25 and the Slipcase has $5.00 stick on dot from Ballantine. Tinted textblock edges. Slipcase design based on artwork by J.R.R.Tolkien. 1805 pp in total 12mo.
