With the signature mark "4" on page 49 of The Return of the King. Bound in full red leather with spines lettered in gilt, housed in a customs red cloth-covered slipcase. Fine, with all three folding maps at rear. Gilded at top, no spotting or staining. Contents very slightly tanned. A lovely set of Tolkien's epic trilogy, which is considered one of the greatest fantasy works ever written and is among the best-selling books of all time.
