Jane R. Wood was born in Astoria, Oregon, and moved to Florida with her family when she was ten. She received her BA degree from the University of Florida and her MEd from the University of North Florida. She is a former teacher, newspaper reporter, and television producer. Lost in Boston is the fifth book in the series that chronicles the adventures of the Johnson family. Mrs. Wood likes to select historic locations for the settings of her books, and weave history into stories packed with mystery, adventure, and fun. Jane Wood has two grown sons and five grandchildren, and lives in Jacksonville, Florida, with her husband Terry.
