"First American edition, 1954" stated. Near fine plus, if not fine hardback in good plus plus, if not very good price-clipped dust jacket. Dust jacket has a 3/4 inch by 3/8 inch chip and associated 1//2 inch closed tearto head of spine; a 1 inch by 5/8 inch chip to top edge of rear panel at spine; wear to 5/8 inch of head of spine; a 3/4 inch by 1/4 inch chip to lower edge of front spine fold; and moderate, if not minor additional wear/hairlline creases to spine, corners, edges, front panel and extremities. Only trivial additional signs of age/wear/p0revious use to booka and dust jacket.
