A tight, crisp copy of the 1956 1st edition. Clean and Near Fine in a bright, price-intact, VG+ dustjacket, with several tiny closed tears --and just a bit of light creasing-- along the panel edges. Ed van der Elsken's photographic story of the 1950s Bohemian Left Bank of Paris in the 1950s is an important work of documentary photography, with the book design (although unstated) by Jurriaan Schrofer.
