True first British printing with original clipped jacket. Jacket has faults - namely edge/shelf wear, (quite) large patchy loss (mainly to head/tail of spine and to corners), numerous tears, creasing/rubbing to edges, patchy browning (including to spine), few marks, old price in pen written to front, minor foxing, pushing/rubbing to head/tail of spine, pushing/bumping to corners, rubbing/loss to top (picture) surface, creasing/rubbing/browning to front/back inner flaps and is in only fair condition. Boards are good with a little pushing/bumping to corners, a few small marks, one small patch of wear/loss to top surface/scrape to front lower edge, the odd small bump. patchy rubbing to edges and minor pushing/rubbing to head/tail of spine. Pages are generally clean and the binding is tight. End-papers tanned. Pages bit tanned. Odd small mark/minor foxing to page edges, tops and bottoms. Occasional small mark/spot of foxing to pages.
