New York Fine with facsimile wrapper. This copy is an advance copy like most. I think that copies were left with bookshops in the hope that orders would follow. Sales though were slow as Wodehouse was still relatively unknown in the States and copies without the advance copy statement are far less common. This copy comes with a facsimile of the ultra rare wrapper .The wrapper was frail and had interesting flaps. As far as I know only three copies have surfaced to date,including a fine copy from the late David Lloyds collection.
