Wells' book is a work of romantic fiction: here she describes a land called Arcady in the kingdom of Arcadia, where lovers can go to experience romantic bliss after being serenaded by cherubs and the smell of the local flowers. There is a cherub in nearly every illustration. Rubbing to the boards' edges; jacket shows a few chips and has three large tape repairs on its reverse.
