This unusual catalogue is by Lucas Samaras; 3 pages of text, with 66 photographic illustrations with accompanying captions; the text presents excerpts from Lucas Samaras' own words, then followed by a number of full-color illustrations/reproductions of his art works; edition size is unknown, it is not signed; the book accompanied his exhibition of paintings and "photo-transformations" held at PaceWildenstein, November - December 1996; Introductory essay by Samaras (excerpt from "Crude Delights"); book design and production by Tomoko Makiura and Paul Pollard; all pages are stiff and glossy, pages in sections are of different sizes, and uniquely bound in a metal spiral binder size: 7-1/2 x 11-1/2in, book is tight, the publisher's original gray cardboard box with gray tape has some creases, otherwise the book's boards and interior plates in EXCELLENT COND.
