ONE OF THE RARER DODD MEAD AGATHA CHRISTIE 1STS (EASILY THE RAREST 1960s DODD MEAD 1ST) AS THIS IS A COLLECTION OF SHORT STORIES PUBLISHED IN MUCH SMALLER QUANTITIES THAN CHRISTIE'S ANNUAL NOVELS (A UK EDITION USING THIS TITLE WAS PUBLISHED IN 1966 WITH SLIGHTLY DIFFERENT GROUPING OF STORIES). Book has no creased page corners, no former ownership markings or used bookstore stamps inside, no foxing to pages or endpapers or outer page edges, hint of dust soiling/age darkening to outer page edges (no foxing), original endpapers are clean with no soiling or staining, no splitting to internal hinges, no spine lean, no wear to board edges or to board corners or to spine tips, but of irregular fading marks at bottom to rear board otherwise no spine sun fading/darkening, no rubbing to spine lettering, no soiling or staining to front board, no bumped board corners. Dust jacket has no chipping or tearing or creasing, slight wear to spine tips, almost no wear to front flap crease (just at flap crease corners), no spine sun fading (very very common defect with this DJ), no dust rubbing to white panels, faint moisture stain outline mark at bottom to white rear panel otherwise no soiling or staining. Overall a FINE- book in VG+ dust jacket (not price clipped) of one of the rarer 1960s Agatha Christie 1st printings.
