Bound in brown clotth-covered boards decorated with black, stamped graphics on front cover featuring a viking ship. Front end page shows repair to binding; end pages Illustrated decorated with maps of the U.S. Text illustrated with many black & white prints. End pages show some pencil and ink writing, o/w text is clean, complete with stable binding. Boards as might be expected of school books, show moderate wear at edges and spine ends. Overall, a good example of American history text delivering history standard for the period.
