Regiment notation and one set of initials - all in ink on the front free endpaper, old reinforcement tape at the inside front and rear endpaper hinges as welll as at the title page; light toning to the pages and endpapers; a very small dye stain on the fore-edge of the text block with a corresponding dye loss on the fore-edge of the front cover; some light staining on the rear map pocket; some maps have small edge tears archivally taped, wrinkling, edge wear or some light foxing/tiny stains; four small tears at the binding stiching on the notes page; pages 104 to the end of the book have a small tear (archivally taped) at the top and bottom edge close to the gutter; bump to the corners of the boards; some areas of colour fading/loss on the boards and spine; light to moderate edge wear; wrinkling at the top/bottom of the spine; half of one small spine label is missing; both spine labels are browned; the rear folded map has scttered light foxing and light browning at the folds.
