Debut novel by the author, English professor, and former WWII B-24 mission pilot. A pilot is hijacked, taken to Connecticut to pick up a passenger, and then to a dictatorship ruled Caribbean island, where he becomes involved in a dangerous escape and political plot. An unread collectible gift. Fine, square, tight and probably unread in blue linen boards with purple titles to the spine; in a near fine dust jacket with art by Rob Ritter, with a one-inch tear and a half-inch tear and some rubbing to the front panel.
