Johannsen gives publication date as Nov. 15, 1864, with the rear wrapper interior advert announcing the December 1864 publication of Robinson Crusoe. We note the rear wrapper advertises through Dime Novel #76, The Scout's Prize, which, according to Johannsen, was published Dec. 27, 1864. Only light signs of wear, usual bit of age-toning. A VG+ - Nr Fine copy, and certainly uncommon in this nice condition. Original publisher's printed orange paper covers. Now housed in a clear archival mylar sleeve 1st printing, perhaps later issue?
