The photos show the condition better than I can describe, however overall I am grading as Very Good condition for its age, The book has the original blue boards (research indicates the second edition has red boards), a straight spine, with sharp corners and firm spine ends. There is light rubbing to the spine, but overall the book is beautiful and bright despite its age. The page edges are toned, and there is also toning to the end papers but the text block is clean and tight aside from the odd mark, which is minor and does not detract from the book's appeal or affect the text. The book has 255 pages, 5 full page colour illustrations and numerous black and white illustrations. The title page confirms the publication in 1860. Seller Inventory # 015682

Where postage is less - eg a paperback or small hardback - I refund the difference once I get my receipts and know the exact cost. ALL UK parcels are tracked. if you live outside the UK tracking is NOT provided unless you choose priority mail. PRIORITY MAIL TRACKING IS IMMEDIATELY UPDATED otherwise I will only update ABE with UK tracking details on request, and only when 10 working days has passed.
