Green boards, silver-gilt kingfisher motif to upper board, spine titled in silver-gilt. Earlier green dust-wrapper with fish design & price of 12s. 6d. net. Quite foxed but good copy in slightly chipped and used dust-wrapper. "The author proceeds from tackle to baits and thence to what happens during a match." Much advice on baits and groundbaits, whilst Fenland fishing and bream fishing as well as slow and fast waters are each discussed in separate chapters. "The book guides the learner by its straightforward approach, proceeding step by step and fishing each swim carefully.
