First published in 1936, first edition. 275 pages, all intact, all pages, text and illustrations in good, clean, readable order. The aim of the book, was to provide a course on Mechanics and Hydrostatics for students preparing for school certificate and Matriculation exams, and the subject matter of the book was chosen with this end in view. It appeared advisable, however, to include a short account of the theory of motion in a circle, both on account of the many practical applications of this portion of mechanics, and because of its importance in other branches.
