Bound in the original cloth, this is the First Edition of this book on the Shropshire town of Shrewsbury, illustrated with thirty six woodcut engravings, this example has been extra illustrated with an engraved frontispiece of Shrewsbury Abbey dated 1809, there is a nice old booksellers ticket on inside front cover of Richard Davies of High Street, Shrewsbury, the cloth covers are marked and faded with some splits along spine edges, internally a few mild marks else contents in good general condition.
