Previous owner's inscription on top corner of front free endpaper, this corner is also partially damaged, resulting in a small part of the inscription flowing through to the title page. Binding is sturdy, yet staples are exposed at the front and back free endpapers. Edges are discoloured, however more heavily at the head edge. This browning and light foxing results in a slight discolouration of pages at the head edge. Covers are lightly rubbed and discoloured. Some soft creasing at front head corner. Head and tail of spine showing wear and tear, and the spine is discoloured slightly more than the covers.
