[There were 26 hardcover copies lettered and signed by the author). Illustrated with black and white drawings by Alvaro Cardona-Hine. Original tipped-in postcard by the publisher with notice about its American Indian issue No. 5-6, chosen for the third American Literary Anthology, loosely inserted to the fore. ***Near fine in tan card wrappers. Crease to bottom corner of rear wrapper. No inscriptions. Pages clean. No tears. Spine tight. ***150 mm x150 mm. 69 pages. ***Alvaro Cardona-Hine is a poet, painter, composer and translator. Born in 1926 in Costa Rica, he came to the United States in 1939. Since 1945 when he began writing poetry, he has written seventeen books. ***First impression of the true first edition, in very nice collectable condition. More InformationFor all our books, postage is charged at cost, allowing for packaging materials; any shipping rates indicated on ABE are an average only; for the UK, our standard rate is for first class, and the priority rate includes tracked (signed for) delivery; for International sales, our standard rate is for Airmail delivery, and the priority rate is for tracked (International signed for) delivery.
