In his search for and study of bireds, the meres, pools and reservoirs of east and mid-Cheshire have been favourite hunting grounds for Tunnicliffe. A year of making notes and sketches. Brick red cloth, gilt titles. B/w illustrations. Some minor mottlng to boards, light browning to top of spine. Gilt titles bright. Browning to endpapers.
