A translation of: Chevreau, Urbain, Le tableau de la fortune. 8vo, approximately 170 x 105 mm, 7 x 4 inches, pages: [16], 1-326, followed by 2 pages of publisher's adverts and including License leaf dated 1675, title page printed in red and black, contemporary speckled calf covers with modern reback to match, gilt lettered label, gilt lettering and rules between raised bands to spine. Old ink name of Thos. Beale, Heath House and a worn old label to first pastedown, Lowndes' surname and date in imprint at foot of title page partly missing (printing fault), pale staining to License leaf, pale age-browning and staining to endpapers and small repair to final endpaper, a few old ink splashes to fore-edges, occasional small brown spot, otherwise a very good copy.
