Item description from seller

12mo, printed wrappers, 16pp. The Rev. Munson sailed in 1833 for the Southwest coast of Sumatra, where, arriving during the Spring of 1834, he was set upon by two hundred Battas and promptly murdered by musket fire. Thus, the fatal spirit of "Primitive Christianity." The text ends with a brief biographical profile of him. NOT IN AMERICAN IMPRINTS.
