The book has a straight spine, sharp corners and firm spine ends. The boards are sunned in part and also along the spine. The page edges are clean with the odd fox spot. There is an owner inscription to the front end paper but that aside the pages are clean throughout. The book has 374 pages including index. The title page confirms the first publication in 1936. Shipping Terms:

I charge shipping that reflects my actual costs. I do NOT offer cheap shipping and add it to the book price so please do not complain to me that Bob down the road offers cheaper postage. Sure he does - but the price of his book is hiked to reclaim it, or you're referring to a power seller who can negotiate postage discounts. I can't - I'm a private individual selling my private collection. ABE only allows me to set one postage rate so I charge the rate for hardbacks sent in a box with bubble wrap and polystyrene peanuts. Where postage is less - eg a paperback or small hardback - I refund the difference once I get my receipts and know the exact cost. Tracking is NOT provided automatically on UK parcels - you have to choose priority mail AND pay an additional �7 postage on top.
