Issues are full of recipes, needlework, home crafts, stories, Ideas for gifts for Invalids, Diets for the Sick, Embroidery Designs for Colonial Furniture, health tips, housekeeping ideas, fashion, clothing for babies and children, food preservation, dinners husbands will enjoy , and so on. Almost shockingly different in terms of tone, content and concerns from lives of modern women today. All issues are VG with no tears, no chips, no wrinkling, some light fraying on spines of several issues. Almost all have printed name and address of subscriber on top left cover corner.
