Original paper wrappers with some general wear, a little rubbed and chipped to edges, spine repaired with brown cloth, dust marking, with the stamp of "The Andersonian Naturalists of Glasgow" to the front cover. Contents good and tight. Provenance: from the library of John Mitchell with small blue bookplate featuring a peregrine, tipped onto the inside front cover, "From the library of John Mitchell, author and naturalist"; Mitchell was an authority on Loch Lomonside and wrote New Naturalist No. 88 Loch Lomondside.
