About this Item
76 pp., errata slip between pp.74/75, continuously illustrated with photos and 4 pp. coloured diagrams, endpapers reproduced from a captured German map, these enlarge section covering Morgan Crucible's location by Battersea Bridge and Thames curve from Fulham to Albert Bridge, overlaid on this are coloured icons showing distribution of bombs, flying bombs etc., internally clean, tight and unmarked; white board covers clean and unworn but 1.5 cm. strip along front fore-edge of white paper fragments from back surface of jacket - these actually removeable with care, patience, a sharp pointed blade and an hour or so to spare!; jacket shows fuller portion of the captured map without the icons. Extensive but light edge rubbing, small spine end chips and the odd tiny nick, the main problem was the front fore-edge which was adhering to the underlying cover, I have managed to detach this (primarily in order to add a protective sleeve) but have had to reinforce much of verso of jacket fold with tear repair tape. A fairly scarce and lavish company production with much information for historians, with full list of staff who lost their lives on pp.74-75. Compnay renamed in 2013 as Morgan Advanced Materials. Note: quoted shipping rates are calculated for 500-700 gram net weight, cost will be modified up or down as appropriate outside this range. Size: 16.5 Cms x 23 Cms. Seller Inventory # 009705
