Dark gilt-lettered cloth, clean with just hints of rubbing to extremities. xxiii+116+36 (pub. catalogue)+ (2, two book notices), includes the tipped in pub. notice at front regarding pricing on book, 44 ills. inc 4 pp. block on brick-laying (ills 24-42); only marking is a 3 line erasable pencil inscription top front end-paper, otherwise clean, tight and unmarked. An excellent copy of the first edition of this now rare founding text of industrial psychology which launched the, not uncontroversial, 'time and motion study' approach.13 cm x 19.5 cm.
