Hardcover no dust jacket. Publishers binding of red cloth with gilt titles to spine and gilt illustration to front board in good+ condition with some shelf wear top & tail of spine and tips of boards, a little rubbing to edges and some marking to boards. Inside some small marks to edges of first pages , from page x to page 7, otherwise all pages and plates with top edge gilt in very good+ condition, clean and bright tightly bound. A nice copy of these stories originally written by the Hon. Edith Helen Vane-Tempest-Stewart, A Political hostess and writer, as a collection of stories in letters to her daughter.
