Hardback. A very good copy in decorated brown cloth lettered in gilt. A little wear to board edges. Now protected in a clear removable sleeve. No ownership inscription. A little edge foxing. 333 pages + 32 pages publisher's adverts dated April 1876. Numerous black and white illustrations. Apparently lacking frontispiece although no sign one was present.
