Making Monotypes Using a Gelatin Plate Printmaking Without a Press

Nancy Marculewicz earned a BFA from the Rhode Island School of Design. A workshop introduced her to monotypes and monoprints using a plate made from edible, unflavored gelatin. Since then, she has been exploring this unique printmaking method and teaching workshops that produce images that are truly one-of-a-kind.
