Dark gray cloth covers with gold lettering on spine. The covers are in nice shape with just a bit of wear. However, pages 45 - 80 have water damage, making the pages wavy. The dust jacket is a bit worn and creased and there is a bar code sticker on the rear panel. Despite the stated flaws, it is still a decent copy. ; Inscribed to former owner by Eric James on title page in black felt tip marker. There is a 14 page photo section in the middle of the book. The introduction was written by Jeffrey Vance. ; Illustrated from black and white photos; 8vo 8" - 9" tall; xvii, 122 pp pages; The author, Eric James, was Chaplin's final music collaborator and he gives an insightful look into Chaplin's involvement in the music composed for his films.
