Jacket a little chipped and with a few short tears to head of spine area; sellotape to reverse. *** ?This book is about songs and money ? the music business?. An entertaining and well-written inside account of Atlantic Records. The author (known for The Sound of the City) is a music fan and that shows: the book is more about music and the big personalities involved than about the business side of things. Scarce UK edition and first hardback edition; published a year after the American edition (a paperback original).
