First edition. Octavo. 96pp. About fine in blue cloth boards and gilt lettering with hint of sunning at the topedge in very good rubbed dust jacket with foxing and abrasion and small tear at corner of the front panel from removal of a price sticker. A collection of poetry by Schumuller and a selection of his translation of works by Glick, "a celebrated poet-partisan of World War I" who was killed fighting the Nazi. Glick is best remembered for his poem "Partisan Song," which was set to music and became a ballad synonymous "with ghetto ruins and concentration camp life.".
