1st edition, second state (without gun on front board), octavo., pp.(viii), (9)-221, foxing to edges, in original cloth boards, green patterned endpapers, bronze lettering to spine, no dust-jacket. Contents clean. Very good condition First edition, second issue of Fleming's last James Bond book, the thirteenth volume of the James Bond series published in April 1965 following his death in August 1964. In 1974 the book was adapted to film with Roger Moore playing Bond and Fleming's cousin, Christopher Lee, as Scaramanga.
