A near-fine, competitively priced copy of Ian Flemings 13th Bond novel. Both book and dust jacket are remarkably well preserved with few signs of their advancing age (now well over 50 years). The black cloth-bound boards are clean, free of marks, and without scratches, dents or bumps. All edges are straight, all corners sharp. The gilt title lettering on the spine remains bright. The text block is square and tightly bound and all edges (of the text block) are spotless. The endpapers are the less common plain white variation. Internally the pages are clean with no signs of previous ownership apart from a couple of small smudges and a previous resale price neatly written in pencil on the ffep. The celebrated dust jacket wraparound is protected by an archival cover; the colours of the illustration are vivid and unfaded. There are are a small number of very small (barely perceptible) creases and tears at the top and bottom of the spine panel. See five photos of this book and do ask for more if that would help.
