First UK edition first printing of the second novel by this author. Became the 1956 movie of the same name starring Gregory Peck. There is a 1/4 of paper loss to the top edge of the dustjacket's spine. A 1/4 inch deep V chip missing to the top edge of the dustjacket's rear panel and a 1/2 inch by 1/2 inch square chip missing from the foot of the dustjacket's spine. A 1/4 inch round spot of soiling on the outside edges of the page. In very good / good condition. Seller Inventory # 36756

Then we closed the B&M and moved everything back home. We continue to do book shows such as the Bouchercon, Bloody Words, The Toronto Book Fair, The Ottawa Antiquarian Show and Thrillerfest.
