The book tells the story of the repatriation of a 1936 ERA from Rhodesia in the early 1960s and what happened over the next 40 years. In particular it explains how two ERAs, R12B and R12C derived from the original car and gives details of Bill Morris's close involvement with two other ERAs, Prince Bira's R2B Romulus and GP2, one of the problematic E types.
