Historian and columnist Arthur Bryant wrote forty books in his lifetime, including a play dramatising the life of Samuel Pepys which ran for one hundred and fifty performances in London. The Man in the Making is a little discoloured to the spine, but otherwise volumes are lightly rubbed to the boards and the spine. Front hinge in The Years of Peril is starting but firm.
