A decent hardback first edition in a poor dust jacket. There is a vertical line of rubbing to the upper cover, and the extremities are lightly creased. The light brown covers are also a little marked. There is a previous private ownership book plate on the front paste-down, and a previous ownership name (different from on the book plate) near the top of the front free endpaper. The ffep is also a little foxed and marked. The binding of this slim volume is secure and the contents are clean. The dust jacket is in poor condition: clumsily clipped at the bottom of its front inside flap, creased, chipped, torn and rubbed, with some quite large areas of loss (including at the tail of the spine), and a couple of clear tape repairs to its underside. Overall, a decent copy with some light shelf wear and a couple of signs of previous private ownership at the beginning of the volume, in a very tired and defective (but not dirty) dust jacket.
