New York: Picture Magazines, Inc., 1962. First Edition of the November, 1962 issue, Volume 13, Number 4. Quarto, illustrated wraps, 74 pp. Better than Very Good, by pulp standards; bright cover with a small stamped date (see scans), light crinkle and soil to rear cover. See scans. Classic American Men's pulp cheesecake, in a periodical which vacillated between painted illustration covers and photographic covers; the former (such as the kitsch classic form here, "Nazi bad guys terrorizing the nubile babe"), being more titillating, involving more work and being now considered kitsch art, are the more collectible. The article titles are kitschy as well: "The Nude Mailman Who Conquered An Island" (something you don't see every day), "For What Would You Sell A Woman" (parse that for me), "Hyena Man of Nigeria", etc., all presumably by pseudonymic authors.Americana! l-pr2.
