Original red cloth, framed in grey on front board, lettered and decorated in grey and gilt on spines. Lightly scuffed, inscription (1911) on front free endpaper, otherwise very good. "[Napier's] speciality was the moral contamination of innocent young women by their worldly elders" (Edwardian Fiction). The novel has a particularly memorable last line: "And the little puffins, far out at sea, said "Aaaarh!". Seller Inventory # RE2682
