Gerard Arink was an immigrant from Holland who treated the German population of Rochester, New York. Arink has included treatments for yellow fever, consumption (tuberculosis), dysentery, cholera, and other common ailments of the period, as well as bronchitis, sciatica, heartburn, and other complaints more common to modern medicine. This work was printed by Erastus Darrow, the oldest bookseller in Rochester. Not in Hoolihan or Garrison-Morton, only 4 in OCLC.
