About this Item

The Manual of Oculoplasty is a compilation of all the topics that a postgraduate student is expected to know in oculoplasty. It is also a good read for postgraduate teachers, fellows and practitioners for planning management of their patients. The references have been deliberately kept to a minimum to reduce the number of pages and thereby the cost. The book is divided into seven sections with the first three sections dedicated to orbit, lids and lacrimal system followed by those on instruments, histopathology slides, and university questions. Each section has basic chapters on anatomy, physiology and examination techniques followed by surgical techniques illustrated in detail with diagrams. Numerous flowcharts and tables have been added to ease revision. The build-up is from a brief history to recent classifications and advances wherever appropriate. The book thus will serve as a useful manual for a quick reference and for preparation of the postgraduate and fellowship exit examination.
