Manuel John Neri Jr. [1930-2021] was an American sculptor who is recognized for his life-size figurative sculptures in plaster, bronze, and marble. In Neri's work with the figure, he conveys an emotional inner state that is revealed through body language and gesture. As a masterful sculptor and draftsman, Manuel Neri always emphasized spontaneity, expression, and intuitive creativity as a hallmark of his art. This publication highlights Manuel Neri's activity in this area: seven unique artist books that incorporate his original drawings, and poetry by Pablo Neruda.

Store description
Welcome to the books platform of Marc Sena Carrel. I operated a professional book business between 2003 and 2017 in the San Francisco Bay Area, including via AbeBooks, and I am now a private party selling off fine books from my personal collection. I carry a choice selection of books, prints and ephemera for the discriminating customer. I focus on scholarly and antiquarian books, with a special emphasis on art books. From time to time I also offer original prints, including but not limited to antique Japanese ukiyo-e prints. Additionally I go in for occasional ephemera. Currently on offer via Abebooks are select titles. My selection is more eclectic and off the beaten path than mainstream and predictable. Please e-mail me at marcsenacarrel@gmail.com if you have any questions or concerns. I will be happy to be of service. Thank you.…

Shipping terms
I wrap and package very carefully and I ship promptly, usually within 1 business day of a paid order. Almost all items are boxed. USPS Media Mail includes a tracking number, as does Priority Mail. International rates to be determined at time of sale depending on weight and destination; I will contact you regarding shipping costs. I regret the recent increase in rates by USPS for international parcels. Generally speaking, my default shipping fees are set somewhat conservatively. I never seek to make a profit from shipping fees. Delivery is guaranteed for all books and prints, and expensive items are insured as a matter of course, usually without extra charge. Payment, via AbeBooks, by credit card or other method acceptable to AbeBooks.
